Noisy room near construction of building next door.
Old school hospitality meets new comfort and expectations.
staff, clean, spacious
extra charge for parking and fitness room
I was a bit disappointed that with such a high price per night the room did not include complimentary breakfast nor complimentary access to the gym. Other than that, my stay was very nice. thank you.
The staff was more than accomodating. The meals and the wine selection at the Crows Nest were superb.
Minor plumbing issues - sink stopper would not hold water...
charge to use the pool and Jacuzzi
Location and friendly and professional staff.
No air-conditioning in room. Room was warm for sleeping - had to use fans but still not cool enough for comfortable sleeping. Room was very noisy for a Sat nite stay - it was too warm to close windows.
Better coordination with the Princess land tours. There were two dirty wash cloths behind the shower curtain when we arrived and a piece of pper trash behind the dust ruffle.
Workout facilities and we ate at the Crow's Nest one night which was excellent. Bed was very comfortable and the in-room dining was the best service we've received at any hotel-very fast and superb service.
Fantastic staff, so polite and helpful. Room was clean, very comfy and spacious, nice furniture, lovely big comfy bed, nice toiletries in bathroom. Overall very impressed. Beautiful views from tower one. Corner unit very spacious. Fletchers restaurant was nice, great food and reasonably priced.
Loved our stay totally.
Why must a guest pay for gym :-(
Webpage reservations didn't allow for number of children to be selected. Room choices for family of 4 seems to be limited to Jr. Suite with roll- aways added. Roll-aways took up so much room in the suite, that it essentially eliminated the value of having a suite. Originally checked into 14th floor, however Suite wasn't clean (beer cans & receipts on tables, dirty clothes in closet). Quickly remedied upon call to front desk and alternate suite provided, but.... WHAT was that about?!
The staff was great and very helpful.
Parking was difficult to find but I used the valet so it wasn't a problem for me.
The location was perfect to see the Iditarod and get to the downtown area. It has 4 different venues to eat at or drink. I loved to Crow's Nest upstairs for a drink...but for a less pricy dinner...Fletchers or the Whale's tail. Didn't try the wine bar but it looked very European and interesting. The suite we stayed in had excellent views and wonderful beds. My girlfriend slept on a roll away they brought into the livingroom and it was really nice and comfortable. We didn't feel cramped at all. It is considered one of Anchorage's best hotels and it has a lot to offer.
I don't have any real complaints...but because I am asked...I would say when we arrived...no one really helped us with our bags. There's a bit of a walk to the front desk and we would have loved an extra hand. Also, I think they could do a little touch up/remodelling. It's getting a little tired looking...but it wasn't a reason not to stay there. A mini bar would have been nice in the room and explaination on the heating system should be mandatory...we had a heck of a time figuring out how to turn it off. Not easy...but you can figure it out...
Very clean, quiet, comfortable and the room service was excellent!
We had to pay for an entire second night when we were checking out around 8:30 pm.
